When does the launch offer end?
At 11:59 pm AEST on 31 October 2026. Make your account by then and keep the current plan free forever, with no card needed.
Does OldMate record my conversations?
No. Nothing is recorded at the table. OldMate hears only what you say to it afterwards, and keeps that recording with your note.
What does the AI do, and who sees my words?
AI turns what you say into text, sorts it onto the right page, suggests questions and finds people by what you remember. OldMate asks your permission once, before any of it starts. The words and audio a feature needs go to OpenAI and TypeSafe, not linked to your account. Photos never do.
Can I use it without AI?
No. AI is how OldMate sorts your words, so there’s no AI-off mode. To stop, delete your account. That stops new requests, but can’t recall ones already sent.
Where are my notes kept?
In your OldMate account, so your browser and phones work from the same copy. We don’t sell your information or use your notes for advertising, and OldMate doesn’t read your phone’s address book. How your notes are protected
How do I cancel?
Where you subscribed: your App Store settings on iPhone, Google Play on Android, or Settings → Manage subscription in your browser. OldMate stays yours until the end of the time you’ve paid for.
Will the price go up?
If it ever changes, we’ll tell you before your subscription renews at the new price.
What happens to my notes if I stop paying?
They stay in your account, but you’ll need to subscribe again to open them. Then everything’s where you left it, or delete your account to remove it all.

Who is it for?
Adults who want to remember the people in their life: friends, family, neighbours. You need to be 18 or over, and it isn’t built for sales.
